Baby BOY, Archer Eugene helped celebrate big sister Charlotte turning 2 today!!
Baby!?!? No baby yet! This is our last official day! We still have so many of our projects on the list that aren’t done, but that’s okay! My focus today is just to slowly clean each room. Not sure on productivity level when 39 weeks pregnant with a toddler. So first coffee! Happy Sunday!!
So obsessed with this soon to be big sister, and that tongue! Although I’m wanting baby to be here sooner rather than later, I am sad for Char! She doesn’t have a clue what’s coming! Any tips/tricks on helping with the transition!?!
Missing Mom more has become somewhat unexpected, as we get closer to baby. I knew it would be hard. But this is a different kind of grieving. Nothing can prepare us for these challenges, but knowing He will always shine through helps. Reaching to God and finding more ways to grow my faith and share it with others has been the best medicine for this chapter. It currently consists of me constantly reminding myself that I need to give the worries to Him and praying for myself and others.
Nesting: get everything you’ve been wanting to do in the last year, done in four weeks. Our to do list just keeps growing.. Put a bathroom in the basement. Paint Charlotte’s book shelves and hang them. Hang the other art in her room. Get the baby things out. Paint the couch in the bedroom. Reupholster the couch in the bedroom. Paint the bedroom nightstands. Put the mantle in the dining room. But first build a hearth. Paint all of the trim on the main level. Build a headboard and bed frame. And a million other things.
First official night in the big girl room✔️ Sleeping in the big girl bed not so much, but I guess the floor works too! Also she is currently napping in her bed 🙌, because she’s been up since 5!! Go Charlotte!
